Jesse Ventura is a proud
Vietnam Veteran who served in
the U.S. Navy for six years.
During that time, Jesse spent four
years on active duty. While on active
duty, Jesse was a distinguished
member of the Navy sEALS, an elite
special missions group. The "SEALS"
are specialists in underwater demolition
and dangerous assignments. Only 15% of
the men selected for the Navy Seal
program ever complete the course.
Perhaps it was Jesse`s years as captain
of the swim team at Minneapolis
Roosevelt High School that helped him
make the U.S. Navy Seals team. Hooyah!

Football Coach Jesse Ventura
specialized as the strength
and conditioning coach for the
Champlin Park Rebels. Ventura
worked with the entire
team to improve their
overall conditioning. The team
advanced to the state finals, losing
in a close game to rival Woodbury.
"He was right there going through
the workout with us," says one
team member, "He never asked us
to do a workout that he wouldn`t do.
He was always inspiring us to work
even harder, because he never
stops pushing himself."
